A beauty store in Glen Burnie was robbed Wednesday morning, Anne Arundel County Police said.
Officers responded to Cosmo Prof beauty supply store at 6320-E Ritchie Highway for a reported commercial robbery. Police were told a man walked into the store, assaulted an employee, and stole money from the register.
The suspect then fled the area. Responding officers and a K9 unit could not find the man after searching the area.
The robber was described as a black man, about 5-foot 7-inches tall, with a thin build, facial hair, looking to be about 40 to 48 years old. He was wearing a blue hooded shirt, khaki shorts, sunglasses and a light gray backpack.
