A Chinese restaurant was robbed in Brooklyn Park, Wednesday morning, Anne Arundel County Police said.
Officers responded to a call for a commercial robbery at Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant at 5008 Ritchie Highway at 9:14 a.m. Employees at the restaurant said a man came in through the building's rear entrance, showed he had a handgun and demanded money from the register. The employees complied and the man fled back through the rear of the restaurant.
Several officers, including a canine unit, responded to canvass the area, but the man was not located. He is described as about 5-foot, 6-inches tall, black with a thin build, wearing a mask covering the lower half of his face, a baseball hat and gloves.
