Posted

Officers arrested two of the three men who were associated with an attempted commercial robbery at the Flexy Store at 1500 Annapolis Mall.

Police say the first man, who entered the store on Thursday night, walked up to the clerk and said that he was armed with a handgun. Then, the second man entered the store and placed some merchandise into a bag, while the third acted as the lookout by standing outside.

The clerk then confronted the second suspect and removed the merchandise from the bag. After that, all three men fled the store.

Officers obtained the descriptions of two of the three suspects and quickly located and arrested Noel Marcas Clark, 23, and Niko Tymeal Staples, 21. The third suspect still hasn’t been caught.

Clark and Staples have been charged with armed robbery, first degree assault and other related charges.

Police say that the third suspect was a black man, who was wearing a light blue denim jacket.
