On August 7, 2011, early in the morning, a Crofton house party got out of hand. People were having a good time at a home in the 2000 block of Lower Court when someone pulled out a gun.

Teyon Jones was shot. Friends rushed him to the hospital but the bullets left Jones paralyzed from the neck down.  More than 4 years later, in December of 2015, Jones died.

The Medical Examiner determined his death was caused by complications from the 2011 shooting, which remains unsolved.

Sgt. John Poole with Anne Arundel County Police, wants this case solved.

"If somebody was there that night and they did see something, there have been some many years removed and maybe they have grown and matured a little bit and are willing come forward with some information that they may have been a little more reluctant to share with us at the time of the incident," Poole said.

Police know several underage people were at the party and hope someone comes forward with information.

"We don't care why you were there, we don't care that you were under aged maybe attending a party there was alcohol or whatever," Poole said. "Our goal is to solve a homicide and to bring to justice whoever may have killed Mr. Jones either accidentally or on purpose."
