Teams were out Tuesday along Furnace Avenue hoping to learn more about what happened to Melanie Meleney who went missing in October of 2018. Remains were found near the waterfront at the end of that October, and in January DNA tests confirmed they were Meleney. Officials consider her case suspicious. A cause of death has not yet been established, and police want to know how the body ended up washing up on shore.
Teams from Anne Arundel County Police, Baltimore County Police, and Maryland Natural Resource Police helped in Tueday’s search.
