BROOKLYN, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating an incident involving several boys robbing a merchant in Brooklyn Sunday evening.
Police say officers were called to the area of 5045 Ritchie Highway for the reported robbery. They say the victim told them he was pushing a cart full of items for sale when a group of eight boys approached him and pushed him. He said the boys then took items from his cart and fled the scene toward 11th avenue.
The man told police one of the boys said he was armed with a knife, but he didn't see it.
Officers later canvassed the area and were an unable to find the group of juveniles.
