Anne Arundel County Police arrested a man they say is a suspect in two commercial robberies in Hanover this past weekend.

Officers responded to the 7600 block of Dorchester Boulevard in Hanover at 7:53 a.m. Saturday for a reported robbery at a Starbucks. Employees said the man entered the store, showed he had a knife, and demanded money from the register. He fled down Dorchester Boulevard after, and responding officers could not locate him. No one was hurt in the robbery.

The day prior, at about 9 a.m., police believe the same man entered a Subway restaurant in the same block, robbing that store at knifepoint, as well. Investigators determined it was the same person in both robberies and identified their suspect as 19-year old Daniel Pearson, of the 7100 block of Somerton Court.

Pearson was arrested Monday and charged with both robberies.
