A man who broke into a couples Pasadena home and fought with the couple during the home invasion was arrested and charged with assault and burglary, Anne Arundel County Police said.
At about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the 8600 block of Gambier Harbor for a reported burglary.
A man and woman living at the house said they woke up when they heard the intruder in their home, police said. The man who lived there confronted the burglar, and the two fought, cutting each other with knives. The woman was also cut when she tried to intervene. The suspect then fled on foot. None of the knife wounds were considered life threatening.
The suspect, Philip Luke Koletty, of the 700 block of 203 Street in Pasadena, was found in a nearby wooded area after additional officers and a police helicopter responded.
Koletty was taken to the hospital with cuts to his neck and shoulder area. The couple were also taken to the hospital, with the man being treated for cuts to his upper body and the woman suffering a cut to her hand.
