TSA at BWI Airport found another loaded gun in a traveler's luggage while checking bags on Monday.
Officials say a Silver Spring man had a .40 caliber handgun in his carry-on bag. The gun was loaded with 11 bullets, including one in the chamber.
The gun was detected when the man entered the TSA checkpoint x-ray machine, and officials called the police who confiscated the gun and charged the man.
This is now the 22nd gun found at BWI in 2018, which is five less than this time last year.
Anyone who brings a gun through airport security could face criminal charges and a hefty fine.
