On Saturday, a man was arrested and charged with 1st degree assault and attempted 1st degree burglary on the 2700 block of Savoy Court in Crofton.
At a little after 3:05 p.m., officers showed up to the said location for a subject armed with a gun. The 17 year old victim said that the suspect, whom he knew, attempted to enter his residence with the intent to fight. When the victim confronted the suspect, a verbal altercation started and the suspect pulled out what appeared to be a handgun. After that, the suspect got into a vehicle and fled.
Officers searched the area and were able to locate and arrest Dwayne Bryant, 19. They obtained a BB gun, which looked like a real firearm, from Bryant and, among other related charges, charged him with 1st degree assault and attempted 1st degree burglary.
