A Severn man was arrested after he assaulted and tried to rob a customer in line at a liquor store drive thru in Glen Burnie.
Anne Arundel County Police say officers were called just after midnight Monday to Frank’s Den on Crain Highway where a victim told them he was approached by the suspect who demanded money. When the victim refused, the suspect assaulted him before running away.
Officers canvassing the area with a canine unit were able to find him hiding in a backyard of a home on Mayo Rd.
26-year-old DaSean Carlos Watson, of Queenstown Rd, was arrested and charged with attempted robbery and second degree assault.
