A 22-year-old man from Glen Burnie has been charged with murder, more than a month after a man was found shot dead in Severn, Anne Arundel County Police said.
Daquan Darryl Pack faces charges of first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and related charges in connection with the homicide of Patrick Maurice Dixon, 31, also of Glen Burnie.
The shooting occurred around 8 p.m. April 1 in the area of Meade Village Road near Reece Road. A uniformed officer working in the area heard gunfire and responded to the scene.
Pack was taken into custody Monday during a traffic stop.
