GLEN BURNIE, Md. — Anne Arundel Police are investigating a homicide that took place in the area of 800 Aquahart Road in Glen Burnie after they located an unresponsive man in a vehicle just before 5 p.m. on July 27.

Officers say that factors at the scene indicate the body had been there for some time and that the vehicle the remains were in was related to an active missing person's investigation. The missing person was last seen on Tuesday, July 16, with a missing persons report being taken on July 23.

On Sunday, July 28, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner advised there was trauma to the body with the manner being homicide. The remains have not been positively identified at this time as detectives are working with the OCME to make an identification.
