BROOKLYN PARK, Md. — A man died Monday after being shot multiple times last Thursday in Brooklyn Park.
On October 28, around 7:30 p.m., officers arrived to the area of Audrey Avenue and Ruth Street for a report of a shooting. They arrived to find a 45-year-old Robert Lee Thomas Jr. lying on the sidewalk suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
He was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers conducted a thorough search of the area, but were unable to locate any suspects and the witness couldn't provide any additional information.
Anne Arundel County Police said Thomas died on Monday evening.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore performed an autopsy and ruled Thomas' death as a homicide, with the manner being multiple gunshot wounds.
