A man was arrested after allegedly burglarizing a Glen Burnie restaurant, but police say he is also be connected to other burglary cases in the area over the last couple weeks.
Early Friday morning police were called to Snyder's Willow Grove Restaurant on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard after reports of someone breaking in. Police say a person called them to say a man entered the closed business, and then after being inside for a couple minutes, drove away in a dark-colored car.
Officers responded to the area and found the suspect, 27-year-old Matthew Edward Poland, a short distance away driving a black 2012 Nissan Altima.
The suspect was arrested without incident and the stolen property from the restaurant was recovered. This arrest has now led to the closure of multiple burglaries that have happened in the surrounding area over the last couple of weeks.
