Anne Arundel County police are searching for more victims who may have been assaulted by a Severna Park masseur.
The investigation started on Jan. 12 when police responded to a call for a sexual assault. The victim told police that earlier that afternoon she was sexually assaulted while getting a massage at the Hand and Stone Massage in the 500 block of Governor Ritchie Highway.
The victim said she fell asleep during the massage and when she woke up the massage therapist was sexually assaulting her.
After reviewing evidence, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Larry Doye, 33, of District Heights, Md. He was arrested without incident on March 2 in Silver Spring, Md.
The spa fully cooperated with police and relieved Doyle of his duties as the investigation continued.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department is asking for the public’s help with identifying any other possible victims of abuse that may have occurred while receiving treatment therapy at the Hand and Stone Spa.
