A cellphone store in Brooklyn Park was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon, Anne Arundel County Police said.
Officers responded to the Metro PCS store at 5620 Ritchie Highway South. A man entered the store with a handgun, pointed it at a clerk and demanded money, police said. The employee complied and the suspect left the store through the back of the building, taking off on foot into the neighborhood.
Police searched the area using a K9 unit, but they were unable to locate the robber. No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect was described as a 6-foot, 200-plus-pound black man wearing a gray jacket and blue jeans.
