A man has been arrested for stealing hundreds of feet of copper wire.
Anne Arundel County police were called to BGE's Pine Orchard Service Center in Odenton around 2:00 a.m. Thursday. The caller told them they had seen a man removing wire from the New Waugh Chapel Road complex.
When officers arrived, they saw the man running from the property. They arrested Ryan Sherwood of Cecil County and recovered 338 feet of copper wire.
