Anne Arundel County Police are investigating two robberies that occurred in the county’s northern edge Saturday evening.
At 7:17 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of W. Meadow Drive in Brooklyn Park where a man said he bad been robbed at about 6 p.m. while walking in the area of Morgan Road and 10th Avenue. He said three suspects in a silver minivan approached him, with one suspect implying he had a gun. The robbers demanded the man’s wallet and cellphone and he complied without injury. The suspects were described as three men wearing dark clothes and face masks.
About three hours later, officers responded to a reported robbery at 5th Avenue Liquors on Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. An employee at the store said a man wearing light colored clothes and a mask walked in, implied he had a weapon, and demanded money, police said. The employee complied and the robber fled the store on foot.
