Royal Farms store in Eastport robbed at gunpoint

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A Royal Farms in Annapolis’ Eastport neighborhood was robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday, Annapolis Police said.

The store, in the 400 block of Sixth Street, was robbed before 4:46 a.m., police said. Two men who had their faces covered a approached a clerk outside the store. One of the men produced a handgun and ordered the clerk back inside the store, demanding he open the register. The robbers then took the money and fled on foot down Chesapeake Avenue.

Police did not find the suspects.
