Serial robber arrested in Severna Park

A man connected to five commercial armed robberies in Anne Arundel County was apprehended after robbing a 7-11 in Severna Park, Md.

Ryan Lee Boyce, 20, was arrested after police responded to the 7-11 at 497 Jumpers Hole Road for a robbery in progress, Tuesday. Store employees said Boyce entered the store, came to the counter, implied he had a gun, and demanded money. The employee complied, and Boyce fled the store. Police canvassed the area and found Boyce in the area. 

Investigators determined he was linked to four other robberies in the past week, all using the same method of implying he had a weapon and demanding money. Boyce is thought to have robbed a a 7-11 at 600 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, on April 27, a Subway at 573 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park on April 28, a Subway at the 8111 Ft. Smallwood Road in Pasadena, Md. on April 29, and a Wendy's at 7905 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie, Md. on April 30.
