In charging documents obtained by ABC2, police reveal she was lured to the area by several suspects after they picked her up from her Annapolis home.

Lopez was found in a secret grave.  On June 24th she was taken to a remote area on or near the ground of a youth camp outside of Annapolis where she suffered significant trauma and was killed.  Her body was found about three months later.

On Saturday, November 4, the United States Marshalls Service found and arrested Milton Alejandro Portillo Rodriguez, 22, in connection with her death.

Rodriguez is charged with first-degree murder and other related charges. He is incarcerated in North Carolina as he awaits extradition back to Anne Arundel County.
