Police have released a sketch of a man who they believe robbed and tried to sexually assault a female jogger on Sunday.
Anne Arundel County Police say the incident happened just after 7:30 in the morning near the intersection of Indian Drive and Candlewick Court in Severn.
Investigators learned an adult female had been jogging when she was approached by the suspect who attempted to engage in conversation.
As the victim continued to jog, the suspect attempted to grab and sexually assault her. The victim then began yelling for help at which time the suspect grabbed the woman's headphones and ran away.
Several officers along with a canine and helicopter searched the area to no avail.
The victim told detectives the male was wearing all dark clothing and stood about 6'0 tall and appeared to be around 150 pounds.
Police say the sketch reveals similar features of the suspect as described by the victim.
