Thousands of dollars worth of drugs seized from Jessup home

Police uncovered thousands of dollars worth of drugs during two different busts in Anne Arundel County. 

A home in Jessup in the 2400 block of Merritt Drive and a home in Hanover in the 7400 block of Race Road were searched last week as part of a narcotics investigation. 

At the house in Jessup police uncovered:

  • 23.54 grams of crack (approx. street value $2,350)
  • 2.38 grams of cocaine (approx. street value $238)
  • 5.45 grams of marijuana (approx. street value $108)
  • 10 Suboxone strips (approx. street value $100)
  • Two digital scales 
  • $371 in US Currency

At the house in Hanover police found three more digital scales. 

Orion Gerald Jones Jr. was arrested and is now facing drug distribution, possession, and paraphernalia charges.
