ANNE ARUNDEL CO., Md. — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating two separate 7-Eleven robberies that happened a day after each other.

Police say the first robbery happened Tuesday evening at a 7-Eleven store located at 4000 Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park. They say officers were called to the scene for the report of an armed robbery when they saw a man matching the suspect description running away from the store. Officers then ran after the man, later identified as 37-year-old Kaleb William Smith, and were able to arrest him.

Smith was found carrying a knife and money. He was taken to Northern District for booking and charged with robbery, theft, and assault-related charges.

The following day, officers were called to investigate a commercial robbery at a 7-Eleven located at 2406 Davidsonville Road. Police report that an unknown man walked into the store implying that he had a weapon and demanded money. They say the clerk followed the man's orders and the man later fled the scene.

Officers searched the area and were unable to find the suspect. There were no injuries reported during the incident.
