Two Anne Arundel County businesses that are less than three miles away from each other were robbed minutes apart on Wednesday.

The first robbery was in Brooklyn at Charle Wards on 4th Street around 8 p.m. Police say two men walked into the store, displayed handguns, and demanded money. The employee gave up the cash and both suspects ran away.

Officers searched the area but were not able to find the suspects. Both suspects were described as black men, wearing a black shirt, with black shorts on.

The next robbery was only three minutes later at the Dunkin Donuts on Camp Meade Road. Police say a man entered the store, implied he had a handgun, and demanded money from the register. The clerk complied and the suspect ran away.

Once again police searched the area but were not able to find the suspect. He was described as a black man with a gray hoodie on and black pants.
