Police find two men dead after responding to double shooting at Glen Burnie apartment complex

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WMAR) — Police found two men dead on Sunday after responding to a report of a double shooting at a Glen Burnie apartment complex.

"Regrettably two people have been killed here today, believed to be adult males," said Lt. Glenn Shanahan.

Anne Arundel County Police say they were called around 4:30 p.m. to the Southgate Apartments, in the 300 block of Highland Drive.

Arriving officers found one victim deceased on the parking lot of the complex and a second man dead inside the building. The back parking lot is separated from the Baltimore Washington Medical Center by only a fence.

Investigators believe the shooting was targeted and are chasing down leads. No suspect information has been released and police haven't disclosed any details about the relationship between the victims and suspects.
