Two victims injured in Annapolis double shooting Wednesday night

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Two people suffered non-life threatening injuries after they were both shot in Annapolis late Wednesday night.

At a little before 8 p.m., officers heard shots being fired from what they thought was the 1300 or 1400 block of Tyler Avenue. As the they were heading in that direction, police dispatch began receiving calls reporting shots being fired in the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue.

Officers arrived and located three vehicles and a home that were both struck by bullets. At around 8:30 p.m., dispatch was told that two victims, with gunshot wounds, had arrived to the Anne Arundel Medical Center.

The victims, an adult male and an adult female, suffered non-life threatening injuries and officers believe that they may have been in the 1400 block of Tyler Avenue when they were struck.
