A woman struck a man with a pole and robbed him Tuesday night, Annapolis Police said.
The man told police he was walking in the 1100 block Bay Ridge Avenue at about 6:30 p.m. when the robbery occurred. The victim said the woman hit him in the face with a metal pole, police said. When the man fell to the ground, the woman grabbed his backpack and fled.
The man was taken to an area hospital where the injuries to his face were treated.
