ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A suspect was arrested after police say he assaulted, threatened, and robbed a man who had just gotten to work.
Annapolis Police say a man was unloading his tool bag after getting to work in the 1700 block of Margaret Ave when he was approached by a man he did not know. The suspect, 41-year-old John Logan III, then allegedly punched the man in the head and picked up the tool bag the man was unloading.
Police say Logan then threatened to hit the man with a power tool if he called the police. Logan then reportedly ran away and officers found him, and the man's tool bag, in the 1700 block of Virginia Street.
Logan was charged with robbery, first and second degree assault, theft and attempting to inhibit testimony. He is now being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
