Police say an 18-year-old was arrested for forcing a man out of his car and stealing it at gunpoint.

According to police, a 20-year-old was parked in his car at the Northwood Shopping Center on Tuesday when a man approached him with a gun.

The suspect forced the man out of the car and drove away. While the suspect was pulling out of the parking lot, police noticed they were driving without their headlights on.

The officer attempted to pull over the car, but the driver would not pull over. A short time later, police say the driver crashed the car, got out, and attempted to run.

Police were able to arrest 18-year-old Tumani Corbett. Corbett was transported to Central Booking where he has been charged with Armed Car Jacking.
