19 year old shot in arm during dispute at Better Waverly grocery store

BALTIMORE — A 19-year-old man was shot during a dispute in a Better Waverly grocery store parking lot, Baltimore Police said.

Officers from the Northern District responded to a shooting at the Giant Food Store at 601 E. 33rd Street at 10:10 a.m. When police arrived, they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound to his left forearm. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injury.

Police believe the man was in a dispute in the Giant parking lot when a suspect pulled out a gun and shot him. The man ran inside the store to seek help.
