2 injured in shootings within 8 minutes of each other on Friday

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two shootings that took place within 8 minutes of each other on Friday.

8:39 p.m.:

Officers responded to the 1700 block of West Northern Parkway for a shooting and found a 21-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the groin.

He was taken to the hospital where his condition is currently unknown.

Due to his injuries, homicide detectives have been notified.

8:47 p.m.:

Officers responded to the 300 block of Pulaski for a shooting and found a 23-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the leg.

She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
