BALTIMORE — A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged in the brazen late May murder of a 28-year-old man in Southwest Baltimore.
Kalim Satterfield was arrested on South Dolfield Road at about 2 p.m. on June 27, Baltimore Police said. He is charged with first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault and several handgun charges in the May 29 death of David Mackall Jr.
Police said Satterfield allegedly shot Mackall in broad daylight while he was in the 1900 block of Braddish Avenue, shooting Mackall multiple times in the torso and head in broad daylight. Mackall was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives investigated, eventually obtaining a warrant for Satterfield’s arrest.
