BALTIMORE — A 20-year-old man was shot in the leg in Southwest Baltimore Tuesday afternoon, Baltimore Police said.
Officers from the Southwest District responded to the 4300 block of Parkton Street, in the city's Yale Heights neighborhood, at about 2:26 p.m. Shortly thereafter, police found the gunshot victim in the 4400 block of Frederick Avenue, in the city's Irvington neighborhood. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police believe the man was shot where the shooting was originally reported, in the 4300 block of Parkton Street. Citywide shooting unit detectives are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call 410-396-2221 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
