21-year-old shot and killed in South Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — Baltimore Police are investigating a late Friday night South Baltimore homicide.

At a little after 10 p.m., Southern District patrol officers were called to the 3000 block of Hollins Ferry Road to investigate a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 21-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. A medic was called to the scene and ended up pronouncing the victim dead on location.

Police later identified the victim as Erskine Reed Jr., of the 2300 bock of W. Patapsco Avenue.
