A 22-year-old man was shot in the leg very early Thursday in the Pigtown/Washington Village neighborhood.
Southern District patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of James Street for a shooting at 3:24 a.m. On location, officers found the man suffering from a gunshot wound to his thigh.
He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
