BALTIMORE — A 24-year-old man was shot Friday morning in Baltimore’s Penn-Fallsway neighborhood, Baltimore Police said.
Officers responded to the 300 block of N. Gay Street for a reported shooting at about 8:03 a.m. There they found the man suffering from gunshot wounds to the neck and chest.
Police said the man was sitting in a car when someone walked up to him and shot him. He was rushed to a hospital but is expected to survive.
A witness to the shooting told WMAR 2 News that the victim knew the shooter.

The location of the shooting is on the same block as the Juvenile Office of the Public Defender and just blocks away from the city’s central Post Office.
