BALTIMORE — A 26-year-old man was arrested for the shooting of a 35-year-old man Monday in Southwest Baltimore.
Wednesday, a Warrant Apprehension Task Force arrested Dwayne Thornton, of the 1900 block of Penrose Avenue, and charged him with first-degree attempted murder. Thorton remains at Central Book after he was denied bail.
Police said officers from the Western District responded to Bon Secour Hospital at about 7:30 p.m. Monday to investigate a walk-in shooting victim. A 35-year-old man was suffering from gunshot wounds to the neck and the arm. He said he was shot while in the alley off of the 300 block of N. Monroe Street and then took himself to the hospital.
