26-year-old man found injured in afternoon shooting on East Fayette Street

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating an afternoon shooting that injured a man on East Fayette Street.

Police say officers were called to the 1400 block for the reported shooting just before 1:30 p.m. Once at the scene, officers located a 26-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his body.

They say the man was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Detectives from the Southeast District are investigating this incident.
