Baltimore man in critical condition after early morning shooting

BALTIMORE — A 29-year-old man is in critical condition after he was shot in the head early Monday morning.

At around 12:45 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers arrived to the 2300 block of Washington Boulevard for a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located the 29-year-old unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital which is where he is currently listed as being in critical condition.

Due to the victim's condition, homicide detectives were notified about this case.
