3 men shot in Gay Street neighborhood late Thursday

Three men were shot late Thursday night in Baltimore's Gay Street neighborhood, Baltimore Police said.

Officers from the Eastern District responded to the 700 block of N. Caroline Street at 11:47 p.m. for a reported shooting with several victims.

When police arrived, they found three men suffering gunshot wounds. An 18-year-old man had been shot in the arm. Another 18-year-old man was shot in the ankle. A 27-year-old man was shot in the leg.

All the victims were taken to an area hospital and are listed in stable condition.

An early investigation showed the men had been shot in an incident in the 700 block of Mello Court.
