3 year old grazed, 38 year old shot in Ellwood Park/Monument midday Tuesday

A 38-year-old man was shot in the leg and a 3-year-old boy's arm was grazed by a bullet in a shooting in Baltimore's Ellwood Park/Monument midday Tuesday, Baltimore Police said.

Officers were called to the 600 block of N. Ellwood Avenue at about 12:52 p.m. for a reported shooting. There, police found the man suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. Officers also found the young boy with a graze wound. Both were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The shooting comes roughly a week after a 5-year-old was shot in West Baltimore.
