BALTIMORE, Md. — Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of a man on Christmas Day in Northwest Baltimore.
Police were dispatched to the 5500 block of Reisterstown Road for a report of a shooting around 6:49 p.m.
Officers at the scene found a 30-year old man with gunshot wounds to his body. They say he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe the man was sitting inside of his car when he was shot.
This incident comes after a series of violent shootings that plagued the city on Christmas Eve, leaving six people shot.
