A man was shot in the abdomen overnight in Northeast Baltimore, Baltimore Police said.
At about 12:50 a.m. Friday officers responded to the 4300 block of Roberton Avenue for a reported shooting. Once there, police found a 39-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
An early investigation showed the victim was approached by an unidentified man trying to rob him.
