4 shot in Baltimore on Wednesday, 3 within 30 minutes

Crime is continuing in the city as it is plagued by another day with multiple people shot. 

By 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday WMAR-2 News has confirmed four shootings across the city, and is looking into more. 

The first shooting of the day was reported a mere five minutes after midnight. Police were called to the unit block of Poppleton Street, where they had just responded to a shooting 30 minutes prior. When they got to the scene they found a 50-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the back.

The next three shootings all happened within 30 minutes of each other. 

At 10:29 officers discovered a man has been shot in the 2600 block of E. Monument Street. 20 minutes later officers were then called to the 200 block of N. Luzerne Avenue for another shooting. They found a 32-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. 

By 11 am., police were heading to their fourth shooting of the day at the intersection of Caroline and Orleans Streets. There they found a 38-year-old man who had been shot in the arm. 

In all four shootings, the victims were taken to the hospital to receive treatment and police have not indicated the shootings were deadly.
