BALTIMORE — A 47-year-old man was killed, and a 26 year old and 17 year old were injured in separate shootings Thursday in East Baltimore.
Southeast District patrol officers were flagged down at the intersection of Jefferson and Bolden Streets at about 12:46 a.m. and told of an unresponsive man laying in the 500 block of North Clinton Street, in the city’s Ellwood Park/Monument neighborhood. Police responded to that scene and found the 47-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Medics also responded to the scene and pronounced the man deceased.

At nearly the same time, Eastern District patrol officers responded to a Shot Spotter alert in the 2000 block of East North Avenue, in the city’s Broadway East neighborhood.
At the location, police found a 26-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the buttocks. Medics came to take the man to the hospital for treatment. Shortly thereafter, police learned of a walk-in shooting victim at a local hospital.
Officers went to the hospital and found a 17-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was immediately taken into surgery. Police said he is in critical condition, and the 26-year-old is in stable condition.
Investigators believe both men were shot while in the 1800 block of North Castle Street. Eastern District Shooting Detectives ask anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2433.
