A 47-year-old man was shot near the edge of Baltimore's Franklintown Road and Mosher neighborhoods Monday, Baltimore Police said.
Police from the Western District responded to the intersection of Edmondson Avenue and Poplar Grove for reports of a shooting at about 12:06 a.m. Responding officers found the man suffering from a gunshot wound to the thigh and leg.
Initial investigation showed the man was in the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue when a suspect approached, produced a gun, and shot him. The victim fled, locating police officers at the intersection.
