BALTIMORE — A 60-year-old man was left in serious but stable condition after being shot shortly after midnight in Better Waverly, Baltimore Police said.
Officers responded to the 2700 block of Reese Street at about 12:13 a.m. for a reported shooting. Police arrived to find the man suffering from a gunshot wound to the left side of his torso. He was taken to the hospital where he was said to be in serious but stable condition.
Shooting Detectives from the Northern District are investigating. They learned the man and a family member were inside their home when two unknown suspects broke in, assaulting both of the home’s inhabitants and shooting the 60 year old. The suspects then took keys and stole a vehicle, fleeing the location.
