A 61-year-old man was arrested this week, charged with the rape of an paralyzed nursing home resident.
Police arrested 61-year-old Donald Stanton Thursday. He is charged with first-degree rape.
Stanton is accused of raping a 43-year-old female nursing home resident who suffers from paralysis and cannot walk.
According to detectives, Stanton allegedly entered the victim’s room, then threatened and raped her.
Stanton was being held without bail Friday.
